Heroes Night Out

Motorcycle Charity Associates announced today that they will welcome a lucky group of wounded veterans to Los Angeles for free vision treatment and a “Heroes Night Out” at the 2nd Annual Stars & Stripes event on the grounds of the Playboy Mansion Saturday, May 15th.

To commemorate National Armed Forces Day, Motorcycle Charity Associates teamed up with Hero’s Night Out, to send war veterans from Texas military bases, Fort Hood and Fort Sam Houston to Los Angeles for free vision treatment. Hero’s Night Out’s (HNO) mission is to provide wounded heroes and their families a well deserved break from their routine while recovering from war related inquiries.

These young soldiers who are recently returning from active duty, most severely injured, will get complimentary vision correction surgery with LASIK, or the implantable contact lenses. The veterans and their caregivers will enjoy a few days in L.A. while recovering from surgery before the event at the Playboy Mansion. Proceeds from Stars & Stripes will go to benefit Wounded Warriors and Hero’s Night Out, a local Austin organization that has been associated with Military Moms Of Texas and has been a wonderful connection for them.

“Showing our gratitude and support for our wounded heroes and their families. It’s the right thing to do!” Says Wes Pierce one of the founders of Heroes Night Out.

“It’s the least we can do in exchange for the sacrifices our service men and women have made to insure our freedoms in this great country.” Says Executive Director Billy Gordon of Motorcycle Charity Associates. “The week long experience should be a great morale booster which is a big part of what Hero’s Night Out Provides.

This heartwarming collaborative effort took more than 10 organizations working together to cover the cost of surgery, admissions to the Playboy Mansion, travel, health services, hotel, medical expenses and food.  These organizations include: Motorcycle Charity Associates (MCA) www.MotorcycleCharityAssociates.org
